floTerms of use
These terms govern your use of Flo, provided by Hunch & Craft LLC, California, United States. By affirmatively accepting these terms in the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions can be sent to support@flocaptions.com.
The service
Flo helps you create, review, translate, arrange, and export captions for short videos. Studio lets you review and edit before adding languages. Express prepares multilingual captions automatically. AI processing requires an internet connection and your separate cloud-sharing permission. Some editing and export features operate locally.
Flo is currently in private testing. Features, availability, and limits may change, and interruptions can occur. Review your work and keep copies of important originals and exports. AI captions, translations, and timing can contain errors; you are responsible for checking them before publication.
Your content
You retain your rights in your videos and text. You permit Flo and its service providers to process the content you submit as needed to provide your requested features, as explained in the Privacy policy. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit, translate, and share that content, including permissions relating to recorded people and copyrighted material.
Do not use Flo for unlawful activity, infringing content, unauthorized access, abusive automation, or evasion of service limits. We may limit or suspend service when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, legal requirements, or service disruption. Contact support if you believe a restriction is an error.
Free videos and Premium
The selected free plan includes 10 new video sessions per calendar month, resetting on the first day of the month at 00:00 UTC. A session starts when Flo accepts the first cloud caption-processing request for a new project. Opening a tab, selecting a video, or editing locally does not use a session.
That saved project includes its captions, supported added languages, edits, retries, and exports. Resuming it does not use another session, including after the monthly reset. Starting a new project, even from the same source video, can use another session. An accepted request can count even if processing later fails; retrying the same project does not use another slot. Unused monthly slots do not roll over.
Premium offers unlimited video sessions and no ads for normal use of the app. It does not remove technical clip or language limits, authorize abusive automation, or guarantee uninterrupted service. Free access may show ads where enabled. Current testing uses test ads or no ads.
Subscriptions
Where offered, Premium is a monthly auto-renewing subscription without a free trial. The reference US price is $9.99 per month; the actual price, currency, taxes, billing period, and availability shown by your store apply. There is no subscription charge merely for completing onboarding. A purchase requires your confirmation in the app store.
Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled through the applicable store before renewal under that store’s terms. Use Flo’s subscription-management link or your store’s subscription settings to manage or cancel. Cancellation normally stops future renewals; access continues for the period the store reports as active. Refunds are handled under the store’s rules and applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Deleting the app or cloud identity does not cancel the subscription. Restore purchases using the store account that made the purchase. Flo does not require a separate signup for guest use. Keep your device and store credentials secure.
We will disclose material pricing or plan changes before they apply and obtain any acceptance required by the store or applicable law. Existing local work remains accessible when paid access ends, subject to your device retaining it.
Privacy and ending use
The Privacy policy explains content processing, providers, retention, and choices. Agreeing to these terms is separate from allowing cloud captions. You can stop using Flo, withdraw cloud permission, erase local project data, or request cloud identity deletion. Those actions do not erase copies you have shared elsewhere or cancel a store subscription.
Responsibility and applicable rights
Flo is provided subject to technical availability. We do not guarantee that generated content is accurate or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, warranties, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Contact support about a service problem so we can investigate.
The applicable app store’s terms also govern the app license and store transactions. These terms do not replace any mandatory consumer protection in your country. We may update these terms with notice appropriate to the change, and request renewed agreement where needed.
